Laura Perrudin Talent Jazz Adami
Singer-songwriter, harpist and producer Laura Perrudin hit the scene in 2015 with Impressions, her critically-acclaimed first album: Sélection du Monde, FIP, Inrocks and the BBC all loved it. Her second album, Poisons & Antidotes, has just been released and was produced at the Greenhouse Studios in Reykjavik by Valgeir Sigurosson. Suspended in elusive space-time, the songs have been fully sculpted by Laura’s voice and her amplified harp. The classic string instrument plunges into a soft world of electronic sounds. Think Amon Tobin, Björk, Portishead or Flying Lotus meets Debussy, Ravel or Wayne Shorter. The classically-trained young artist thrives on jazz and walks a tightrope between pop and experimental. She blends throbbing grooves with dreamy textures, pictures with stories, live spontaneity with the technical mastery of digital productions.
