JAZZ À VIENNE CAFÉ
The festival is all about getting together and sharing music. This year, from June 25 to July 11, which were the original dates of the 2020 festival, the bars, cafés and restaurants of Vienne will broadcast shows from previous Jazz à Vienne editions. Treat yourselves with a meal or an evening outdoors and listen to the finest performances in the history of the festival.

TWO ONE-OFF PERFORMANCES
Two concerts specifically designed for this one-off edition of Jazz à Vienne will be given behind closed doors in the Roman Theatre of Vienne, where the heart and soul of live music is alive and kicking. The unique performances will be available on Culturebox on July 2, with the duet Ballaké Sissoko and Vincent Ségal, and Eric Legnini + special guests Thomas Dutronc & Hugh Coltman.

Exceptional times call for exceptional projects. On June 30, 18 Jazz à Vienne partner festivals from 15 different countries will join forces online at 6 p.m. for a special video broadcast on Jazz à Vienne YouTube channel. The night will be all about opening up and sharing cultures, with a compilation of concerts extracts from all over the world. Join us for a round-the-world trip with video recordings provided by the cream of international jazz festivals: Festival International Echternach, Sampa Jazz Festival, Tokyo Jazz Festival, Cosmo Jazz Festival, Nice Jazz Festival, Udin&Jazz, İstanbul Caz Festivali, Rimouski Festi Jazz International, Montréal Jazz Festival, Togoville Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Biguine Jazz Festival, Jazz sous les Pommiers, X Jazz festival, Essligen Jazz Festival, JAZZIAM, Marseille Jazz and Jazz à Vienne.

The legendary All Night Jazz cannot unfortunately take place on July 11, but the Roman Theatre will not remain silent. With the All Day Long event, Jazz à Vienne offers a compilation of concerts recorded during previous editions and available on Jazz à Vienne YouTube channel. Join us and delve into the very soul of Jazz à Vienne!

EPHEMERAL RADIO
Last summer, Crock radio from the radio network Ferarock covered the festival for the 20th time. This year, the radio decided to join the programme “Jazz à Vienne – édition limitée !” and offer special Crock Shows dedicated to Jazz à Vienne every weeknight from 5 to 6 p.m. Let’s travel through the 40 editions of the festival thanks to this ephemeral radio broadcasted live in the streets of Vienne.

11 p.m. - FIP – CONCERT RERUN: for the special World Music Day programme La Nuit de la création imagined by FIP, the radio broadcasts the opening concert of the 39th edition of Jazz à Vienne, Up Above my Head, recorded on June 28 2019. It was a Jazz à Vienne creation entrusted to pianist Raphaël Lemonnier, with singers Camille and Sandra Nkaké, and musicians Raphaël Imbert, Pierre-François Dufour, Christophe Minck and Clément Ducol.

3.5 p.m. – MEZZO TV – CONCERT RERUN: All summer, Jazz à Vienne can count on a partnership with the channel Mezzo, with a special programme dedicated to the festival. On June 21, watch the rerun of Guillaume Peret’s early morning live show which closed the All Night Jazz of the 37th edition of Jazz à Vienne.
9 p.m. - TELEGRENOBLE – CONCERTS RERUN: Every Sunday night at 9 p.m. until July 19 (June 28 excluded), local TV channel Télégrenoble for French department Isère offers reruns of Jazz à Vienne concerts in the programme “Jazz en live le Dimanche”. On June 21, watch Manu Katché (Jazz à Vienne 2014), Chick Corea (Jazz à Vienne 2012) and Taj Mahal (Jazz à Vienne 2014).
