Marthe
After
Marthe looks towards the East, staring into space, with one foot in freedom and invention and the other one in rock’s power. Marthe dreams, Marthe dances, Marthe turns everybody’s head, Marthe handles wonderfully the instruments: electric guitar and bass, drums, saxophone, clarinet, trumpet or bugle. Things are moving. Those four musicians know how to tell stories: when the trumpet creates dreamy horizons, the guitar is mesmerizing and the drums set the pace. Just when we come back down to earth, the clarinet and the saxophone draw us somewhere else, always further to the East.
