Robinson Khoury

At the beginning of his career, we talked about Robinson Khoury as a leading successor trombonist playing an instrument with a rich heritage and embodying its promising future. Later, his journey showed he was more than that: a composer with a unique vision, who was able to use all the expressive resources of his instrument and to draw his inspiration in jazz tradition as well as in his electronic love. His last album Mÿa, which also explores his Lebanese roots, perfectly illustrates his originality revealing an unexplored musical world, filled with a magic irrespective of trends and time.
