Caravan’Jazz
Jazz à Vienne kicks off the festivities in the run-up to the festival, with nine concerts spread over three weekends across the city. On each date, an amateur orchestra will open the evening, followed by a brass band. Every Friday and Saturday will conclude with a DJ set by Jukeboxlive and every Sunday with a brunch, keeping the party going. The perfect warm-up before the festival!

Dystoh is a dynamic new duo formed by Ray Tabana and Phil Motion, founding members of the Souljazz Orchestra, which has been nominated for three Juno Awards. Blending driving congas, a roaring baritone saxophone and two-part harmonies, their sound draws inspiration from the powerful and vibrant elements of Afrobeat, Latin music and reggae. Formed during the Covid-19 lockdown, Dystoh made their live debut at the Dakar Music Expo in Senegal (2022) and have since toured Colombia, Canada and Europe. Their self-produced debut album, ‘Heat of the Times’ (May 2024), bears the weight of lockdown isolation whilst offering a subtle, raw and poetic personal reflection on global turmoil in a rapidly changing world. Standout tracks and videos such as “All My Life” and “Days Go By” showcase the best of their hypnotic grooves and polyrhythmic arrangements, whilst the two artists take turns as lead vocalists.

With 25 years under their belt, over 800 gigs across France and Europe, and seven albums to their name, No Water Please are a groove machine! They cover it all: ska, punk, Afro, jazz… From Charlie Mingus to Fishbone, via the brass bands of New Orleans, the musical fusion of NWP’s seven musicians is capable of bringing the house down at any bar, street festival or concert venue. Whether on stage or playing acoustically, their music is a burst of infectious, ultra-festive energy!

Hailing from the neighbourhoods of Bakata (Bogotá), Angela’s voice reflects the diversity of Colombian music. Her journey has taken her to the Drôme region, where she has surrounded herself with musicians from the worlds of jazz, rock and street music. La Liane draws inspiration from folk traditions to create electric music with brass-like textures, set to rhythms ranging from the Caribbean to the Pacific. On stage, La Liane delivers a warm sound and socially conscious lyrics that stir the soul.

Coming by coach
New for 2026! Faure Tourisme is partnering with Caravan’Jazz. On this occasion, a 50-seater coach will be provided for free, departing from Vienne on Fridays, May 29 (Caravan’Jazz in Chuzelles), June 5 (Caravan’Jazz in Estrablin) and June 12 (Caravan’Jazz in Septème).
