International Jazz Forum
For the second year running, the Jazz à Vienne festival is joining forces with JAZZ(s)RA, the CNM and the Institut français to organise the International Jazz Forum in partnership with the Sacem, the Adami, the Spedidam, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, the DRAC Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the Instituto Cervantes and the Spanish Embassy. From Monday 29th of June to Thursday 2nd of July, 400 people from the world of jazz will take part in a professional programme featuring workshops, speed meetings, conferences and concerts. The International Jazz Forum is becoming an unmissable event for jazz professionals at regional, national and international levels.
The programme:
- A packed programme: workshops, talks and speed meetings, all led by jazz professionals from France and around the world.
- Showcases and concerts at the Théâtre Antique, Cybèle and the Club, featuring artists selected for the Jazz(s)RA programme, Rezzo Jazz in Vienne and the Focus on Spain.
- Opportunities for socialising and networking with national, European and international professionals at the heart of the festival.
Objectives:
- To present a selection of regional (Jazz(s)RA selection), national (Rezzo Jazz à Vienne) and international (Spain Focus) artists, highlighting the diversity of the emerging scene and its new talents.
- To foster meetings and exchanges between professionals in the arts sector (production, distribution, specialist media, institutions…) through two rounds of professional speed meetings (400 one-to-one meetings), workshops and themed conferences (export/international, music for film, production/distribution…).
