As an essential national platform for discovering and promoting new talent, Rezzo Jazz à Vienne has been at the forefront of the emerging jazz scene for over fifteen years.
By creating Rezzo in 2004, Jazz à Vienne sought to bring new jazz talents to the forefront. For over 20 years, Rezzo has continually broadened its horizons and expertise. It has established itself as an essential reference point, both for discovering and supporting young artists on the contemporary French jazz scene.
Rezzo is part of an initiative to professionalise emerging artists and offers the winning bands a genuine opportunity to develop their careers. Upon being named the winner, the winning band receives a year’s support from Jazz à Vienne and its partners. This comprehensive artistic support includes management, administration, communications, technical support, an artist residency to prepare for the album recording, the recording itself, and the organisation of a tour.
