Alfredo Rodriguez Pedrito Martinez Duo

The pianist Alfredo Rodriguez is a regular with trios but began a talented duo with the percussionist Pedrito Martinez. The Cuban pair have real stage presence and always talk to their audiences so you can count on an unforgettable performance and good times. Their CVs include a knighting by Quincy Jones, his producer, for Alfredo Rodriguez and high-flying collaborations with Sting, Bruce Springsteen and Wynton Marsalis for Pedrito Martinez. Duologue, the first album from the duo, came out in February. This is only a snapshot (albeit very impressive) of their music that really comes to life live.
