Namas

As night falls over the sea, Namas sketches the contours of a unique universe, exploring the meandering paths of post-jazz at the intersection of hip-hop and electronic music. In search of refined melodies, the group skillfully weaves hypnotic, relentless grooves that captivate the soul. Hailing from Brittany, the trio captures its earliest musical aspirations in a debut album, Tapestry, pressed on 33-rpm vinyl. Like a personal diary, it reveals the sketches of a singular personality and the ambition to make acoustic instruments resonate with a new intensity. Their dreamlike compositions, fueled by influences as diverse as J Dilla, urban art, and the London scene, evoke a vibrant, uninhibited jazz scene eager for exploration. Here, composition and freedom intertwine with palpable harmony, creating music that transcends genres and invites listeners to escape.
